The YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly is a year-round, not-for-profit conference center situated on 1,200 acres of woodland in beautiful Western North Carolina, near the town of Black Mountain.
As a YMCA, it is our mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

I visited your site once a few years ago and thought it was absolutely beautiful. Do you know if the Y has any facilities similar to this one in Virginia? I’d love to use it for my next family reunion.
Thanks for your comment, Stephanie! We are sorry for the delayed response. There are several other YMCA conference centers throughout the country, but we are the only one located in the southeast. There is a similar full-service, historic venue called Mountain Lake Conservancy in Virginia, but it is not affiliated with the YMCA . If you decide to host your family reunion in North Carolina, we would certainly love to have you back here at Blue Ridge Assembly!
